About Us

History & Mission

The Alameda Soccer Club (ASC) began in 1984 to promote recreational soccer in the North Valley Area, through good sportsmanship, fair play and the teaching of the techniques and rules of the game of soccer, without restriction to race, creed or ability. The club is strictly an amateur, volunteer and non-profit organization. Since 1984, the Club has grown to encompass over 490 youth soccer players and over 40 teams.

The Club's main mission is to provide organized soccer teams for children between the ages of four and sixteen (or higher if there are sufficient players to form teams and brackets) per league rule. Boys, girls and coed teams are formed.

Members of the Club are those persons who endorse the Club's purpose and are approved by the Board, or who have paid the annual registration fee for one or more youth players within the Club.
