Coach Information

Coaches must be certified no later than after their first year of coaching, and coaching clinics are held throughout the year. For more information about the clinics, including clinic schedules, contact your club adminstrator or check out the New Mexico Youth Soccer Association's website. Some clubs reimburse approved Coaching Clinic fees.

All coaching clinics require an application to be submitted to NMYSA. These applications can be downloaded from the NMYSA web site (www.nmysa.net). Questions can be directed to the NMYSA office, 505-830-2246. Description of each course, and what the different levels correspond to (Youth modules: I - U8 and below, II - U8-U11, III - U11-U13; E: U11 and older; D: U14 and older, competitive) can also be found on the NMYSA web site.

Coaches must also ensure that their team has a Certified Referee no later than after the teams' first year in existence. Teams cannot travel without a certified referee.

Was your referee last weekend exceptional? We like to hear good comments about our referees too, but if there was a problem be sure to fill out this Referee Assessment Form and mail it to the NWRGSL office.

Bylaws and Rules

The latest version of the NWRGSL bylaws, general procedures and rules, as well as the annual rules addendum have been updated as of September 2004 and are available in PDF format.

• NWRGSL Small-Sided Rules of Play - Adopted Fall 2006, these rules supersede those listed in the General Procedures and Rules manual's September 2004 version. An updated version of the General Procedures and Rules is under review by the League Rules Commission.
• NWRGSL Bylaws (May 2004 version)
• General Procedures and Rules (Sep 2004 version).
• Additional Rules and Fees (Sep 2004 Version) - Includes newly adopted rules, as well as temporary rules currently enforced. Also includes current year adopted fees.
• Disciplinary Procedures(Dec 2002 version)
